Do I need to have prior Pilates experience to join a class?
All levels are welcome at Tone Reformer Pilates, from beginners to experienced practitioners. If you’ve never taken a Pilates class before, we do require you to start with our Intro Class so you can learn the basics and proper form. This ensures you’ll feel comfortable and get the most out of our regular classes.
What should I wear to a Pilates class?
For ALL classes, we allow either Pilates grip socks or bare feet — whichever you prefer! Regular socks aren’t permitted for safety reasons, as they can be slippery on the equipment. Grip socks are recommended for extra stability and hygiene, but not required.
How do I schedule a Pilates Party?
Celebrate with a fun and energizing Pilates Party! Reformer Pilates Parties are $549 and include 1 hour of group class plus 1 hour of post-workout socializing for up to 12 attendees. Mat/HIIT Parties are $549, featuring 1 hour of group class and 1 hour to mingle and celebrate for up to 20 attendees. To book your party, just email us at: Contact@tonereformerpilates.com with "Pilates Party" in the subject line, and we’ll help you plan a workout your friends will love!
What types of classes do you offer?
We offer Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, and HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) classes. Each class is designed to help you build strength, improve flexibility, and enhance overall fitness. Check our "Class Types" page for a full list of classes offered.
What happens if I’m waitlisted for a class?
If a class is full, you can join the waitlist. If a spot opens, you’ll be automatically enrolled in the class and a notification will be sent to confirm your spot. The waitlist CLOSES 3 hours before the class to prevent last-minute additions from using a class credit. If a spot opens within those 3 hours, you’ll receive a notification but must manually claim the spot to join. Being on the waitlist doesn’t guarantee a spot, so we recommend booking early whenever possible.
Title or Question
Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.Do I need to bring any equipment?
No. We provide all Pilates equipment, including Reformers, mats, and props. If you prefer, you are more than welcome to bring your own mat.
What if I’m late to a class?
We recommend arriving a few minutes early to settle in and receive proper guidance. Late arrivals may miss the warm-up and some instructions, but you’re always welcome to join the session at any time.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a class. This helps us offer your spot to another client and keep our classes running smoothly.
We understand that life happens, so we allow one cancellation exception per month as a gesture of grace and flexibility for those unexpected moments.
What is the difference between Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates?
Reformer Pilates uses a specialized machine with springs and pulleys to add resistance, helping to target muscles more effectively. Mat Pilates uses just a mat and your body weight to build strength, flexibility, and stability. Both are great for overall fitness!
How long is each class?
Our Reformer Pilates classes are 55 minutes, unless specified otherwise. Our Mat Pilates/HIIT classes are 50 minutes long; allowing instructors adequate time to prepare and guide larger class sizes effectively.
What if I have health concerns or injuries?
Our instructors will do their best to provide safe modifications for various health conditions or injuries. However, it is the responsibility of each client to consult their doctor for specific medical guidance before participating in any class.
Can kids or teens take Pilates classes?
For safety reasons, our classes are open only to clients aged 16 and older. Clients who are 16 or 17 can join once a legal guardian has signed a waiver—no need for the guardian to be present during the class. This ensures everyone can participate safely and confidently.
